How to install a PHPEdit license?

Starting with PHPEdit 1.0.4, a wizard assist you during the process of installing your usage license inside the software. You can see below how it look like.

Step 2: Do you have the license locally ?

The first question is to know if you have a license to use offline, this option is usefull when you want to use the IDE on a computer which is not connected to the internet.

An evaluation license is sent to you by email when you download the IDE, this wizard is also capable of grabing it online, we will see that in the next step.

Step 3: Do you have an online account ?

If you have an online account this step let you specify your login informations. Notice that the connection between your conputer and the server will be done using an SSL pipe so do not fear for your password, it's a safe connection. If your Credentials are valid, the IDE will automatically download a license for you. If you account owns an education, personal or professional license it will be used, elsewhere a trial license will be used (and created if it doesn't exists). If you only have an expired evaluation license, you won't be able to use the IDE. Contact us if you need more time to evaluate the software.

Step 4: Create your online account

If you don't have yet an online account, this form will let you create it now and generate an evaluation license instantly.
