As issue tracking is a critical task for software companies, it's very important that the tool used for this purpose is secure. wIT integrate a very powerfull permission access control system.

Each user for each project has a specific role. Each role is a set of permissions. All actions inside wIT are controle dusing a specific permission as shown on the screenshot to offer you the most flexibility.

wIT allow you to control really finely when email should be sent and to whom.

This interface is based on user relationship with the issue:

• Reporter: You have reported the issue
• Developper: You are the developper attached to this issue and are responsible of its resolution
• Related: You have added a comment or an attachment to the issue
• Unrelated: You have done nothing with the issue

Based on your relationship and your personal email policy you'll receive or not an email.

Each email sent by the application can be customized within wIT. Each dynamic field can be inserted using a special syntax as shown on the screenshot.
